This master's degree is offered to students preparing for initial teacher licensure, advanced teacher education, and ancillary educational programs. This program leads to a master's degree for professionals who already hold an early childhood education teacher license or are interested in working in an early childhood education context outside the classroom. Students who wish to seek Early Childhood Education, PK-3 licensure are advised to consider completing the Early Childhood Education, PK-3 Licensure certificate program in conjunction with the MEd. Students may use their certificate coursework to fulfill the elective credits for the MEd program.
