Students will gain an overview of the interrelationships between the individual areas of Recent German Literature, Linguistics, and Medieval Studies, as well as develop the ability to apply in-depth academic methods and knowledge and to work independently in accordance with academic principles. They will be capable of presenting and justifying the socio-cultural significance of education in language, literature, and media, including its historical dimension, to a variety of different audiences. They will also have familiarity with orientational knowledge concerning the development of language and literary skills in learners and will possess the practical, methodological, and theoretical fundamentals required for the transition to professional practice.
