The program is particularly aimed at individuals who are working or interested in pursuing a career as educators. The field of Educational Psychology is broadly defined as the study of students, learning, and teaching. Studies in this field can enrich the work of those who work or wish to work as educators in primary, secondary, or tertiary education. A successful educator is able to motivate students, successfully manage the classroom, assess students' prior knowledge, successfully convey ideas, serve the special needs of students, develop appropriate teaching methods, and use appropriate assessment methods. Teachers can develop these skills by understanding and applying relevant psychological and learning theories. The program aims to encourage teachers to see themselves as engaged learners who are constantly seeking to find and examine better ways to help their students achieve their goals. The central goal of the program is to enrich students' knowledge about the ways in which individual development and individual differences affect learning as well as the consequences that these parameters can have on teaching. Another partial goal is to develop critical thinking in the evaluation of various teaching methods and the assessment of learning.
