This one-year top-up focuses on developing a set of skills to help each student establish a career within the rapidly growing music industry with a music industry employer, or in a self-employed capacity and is ideal for those who have already completed some higher education study in Sound Production of Music Technology, or our Foundation Degree (Arts) Sound Production. Throughout the course, students will develop strong business acumen and the skills needed to support music events. Students will complete a sound recording project and undertake in-depth study of live sound design, live sound reinforcement, and music for image – a particularly creative and popular aspect of the course.

Applicants are required to hold 120 credits at Level 4 and 5 (240 credits in total) from either Foundation Degree Sound Production or Foundation Degree Creative Music Production.
