The Public Finance discipline mainly focuses on the role of the state in the economy. However, the department of Public Finance is an interdisciplinary field that examines the role of the state in the economy from an economic, legal and political perspective. In this context, our department carries out academic activities in order to analyze the financial and economic problems in the public sector of the economy and to produce suitable solutions for these problems. Our curriculum, which is organized according to this purpose, includes a wide range of theoretical and empirical economics, business, law and finance courses. Some of the courses included in the curriculum are: public finance, public economics, fiscal and monetary policies, tax - budget theory and policy, micro and macro economics, general accounting, statistics, econometrics, constitutional and administrative law, law of obligations, finance and economic history, history of economic ideas.
