With this program, the opportunity will be given to consider Basic Islamic Sciences as a scientific research field and to conduct research on the mutual relations of religion with the individual, society, culture and history with a scientific perspective. The Master's Program in the Department of Basic Islamic Sciences aims to conduct both historical and current, theoretical and applied scientific research, thus contributing to the increase of scientific studies in our University in particular and in our country in general. The field of Basic Islamic Sciences awaits researchers with its virgin study topics. Because today's problems of Fiqh and Kalam are at the forefront of these fields. In this context, theoretical and practical studies to be carried out in the fields of Reading and Recitation of the Holy Quran, Arabic Language, Tafsir, Hadith, Fiqh, Kalam, Sufism and History of Sects will contribute to the understanding of Islam from its true and primary source, both to Turkish culture, Islamic culture and universal culture, as well as to academic knowledge accumulation on a local and universal scale, thus preparing the ground for the solution of the problems that come to the forefront in the mutual relations between religion and the individual, society, law, culture, education, politics, economy and art.
