The Music Department Program, opened in 2014, is a
teaching program in which general music education is given equal weight to our
traditional music. The Music Department started education with 35 students in

It aims to provide education with courses such as Music, Turkish Folk Music

Musical Ensembles, Ottoman Turkish, Computer Note Writing Program, and School
Music Repertoire.
After graduating from the department, students can
work as musicians in relevant institutions and academicians in fine
arts-related educational institutions, depending on their fields, or they can
also obtain the right to apply for teaching positions by participating in the
pedagogical formation training certificate program.
