The Music Department Program, opened in 2014, is a teaching program in which general music education is given equal weight to our traditional music. The Music Department started education with 35 students in the 2017-2018 academic year. Department of Music included in the program; Music Theory, Harmony, Music Forms, Turkish Music Form Knowledge, Musical Hearing and Reading, Individual Voice Training, Piano, THM Solfege and Theory, KTM Solfeggio and Theory, THM Repertoire, KTM Repertoire, Group Voice Training, Choir, Turkish Music Polyphony, Instrument Knowledge, Field Instrument (Piano, Violin, Viola, Cello, Flute, Guitar, Oud, Qanun, Ney, Kabak Kemane, Kaval, Clarinet, Classical Kemenche, Tambur, Baglama, Singing) courses as well as elective courses; History of Turkish Music, History of Western Music, Turkish Folklore, History of Art, THM Solfege and Theory, KTM Solfege and Theory, THM Repertoire, KTM Repertoire, Piece Analysis, Piano Accompaniment, Turkish Religious Music Forms, Musical Ensembles Orchestra, Musical Ensembles Chamber It aims to provide education with courses such as Music, Turkish Folk Music Instruments of Musical Ensembles, Classical Turkish Music Instruments of Musical Ensembles, Ottoman Turkish, Computer Note Writing Program, and School Music Repertoire.

After graduating from the department, students can work as musicians in relevant institutions and academicians in fine arts-related educational institutions, depending on their fields, or they can also obtain the right to apply for teaching positions by participating in the pedagogical formation training certificate program.
