Our program consists of academics who are experts in their fields, and the necessary studies are carried out together with the courses. Within our Department of History program, doctoral studies can be carried out on the subjects of Ancient History, Medieval History, Modern History, Modern History, History of the Turkish Republic, Ottoman Institutions and Civilization and General Turkish History. The aim is to raise students as individuals who have the knowledge and skills to analyze, synthesize and evaluate, to produce an original work using scientific research methods, to convey what they know, and to have the title of "Doctor in History" and all the authorities and responsibilities provided by law. Our goal is to ensure that our students can carry out academic studies in their fields with the knowledge, skills and equipment they have acquired.
