There is a need for postgraduate education for students who graduate as Agricultural Biotechnologists in order to increase their employment in the private and public sectors and their knowledge and skills in their fields. For this reason, there is a need for postgraduate graduates who are more knowledgeable in their business fields and who have the necessary technical knowledge and skills to move our country's agricultural biotechnology to the next level. The Department of Agricultural Biotechnology, which started to produce graduates as of 2013, and the Master's Program, which includes other faculty members of the Faculty of Agriculture working in the field of biotechnology, started education in 2014 with the permission of NONE. The current Master's Program, the Department of Agricultural Biotechnology, has attracted great interest since the first day it was opened. Thereupon, the Agricultural Biotechnology USA Doctoral Program was opened in 2019 with the permission of NONE to train experts in the field with PhD degrees.
