Kırşehir Ahi Evran University School of Physical
Therapy and Rehabilitation was established under the name of "Kırşehir
Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation" on 13.07.2000, affiliated with
Hacettepe University, with the decision of the Council of Ministers No. 854,
with the aim of training physiotherapists. Later, its name and connections were
changed and it was incorporated into Ahi Evran University with the law no. 5467
dated 01.03.2006. Our school started operating in August 2008 and started
accepting students from the 2009-2010 academic year.
The aim of the Department of Physiotherapy and
Rehabilitation within the School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation is to
train physiotherapists. Graduates of this department receive the title of
physiotherapist and can continue their master's and doctoral programs. At the
undergraduate degree level, the physiotherapist enjoys the rights and
privileges of the profession.
