Management and Finance (MSc)

The MSc Management and Finance provides in-depth knowledge of contemporary issues in management and empirical finance, in particular financial management, financial reporting, small business finance, financial modelling and international finance. The programme is specifically designed to equip students with the quantitative analysis and applied financial management skills required for a career in investment, financial institutions, or any other financial management-related job. Students will learn how to critically analyse financial proposals and empirical applications of corporate finance, and also gain an understanding of the applied financial management tools used by firms and financial markets participants. Graduates can pursue careers in investment, financial management and insurance. Possible professions include risk manager, corporate investment banker, or insurance underwriter. This degree can also be useful in becoming a systems analyst or chartered management accountant.
