Birkbeck's BSc International Business brings students up to date with the rapidly changing environments in which multinational enterprises operate and in which local businesses achieve international reach. This programme has been designed to meet the buoyant demand for more international business graduates. It provides a solid foundation for a career in a multinational company or in a company engaged in international business. Students will deepen their knowledge of a broad range of management issues in key areas, including international strategic management, marketing, finance and operations management, human resource management, accounting and managerial economics. This programme is taught entirely in the evening, attracting students from both the public and private sectors, including administrators and managers. Graduates can pursue careers in business or management in a domestic or international context or in any functional area (accounting, finance, marketing or human resources management) in the public or private sector.
