This course will equip students with the skills required to flourish within the rapidly changing environment in which organisations operate and compete, and become a confident manager or business practitioner. Students will gain an insight into a broad range of management issues in key areas such as strategic management, marketing, finance, operations management, human resource management, organisational behaviour, accounting and managerial economics. Students will also obtain the transferable skills that allow students to understand the consequences of your managerial decisions. The course attracts a wide range of people, including administrators, clerical workers and managers from both the public and private sectors, as well as self-employed people and those wishing to gain specific knowledge of management and business. The tutorial/seminar sessions give students a chance to interact with their peers and develop insights into analysing and interpreting a wide and varied subject matter.
