Accounting (BSc)

This programme has been designed to allow students to focus predominantly on accounting modules. The number of compulsory management modules is significantly fewer than in the BA Accounting and Management, replaced instead by compulsory accounting modules. However, the study of management remains an important part of the course. The BSc Accounting attracts students from both the public and private sectors, including administrators, clerical workers and managers, as well as the self-employed. This programme is taught entirely in the evening. Graduates can pursue careers in accountancy, finance and management. This degree may also be useful in becoming a chartered accountant, actuary, tax adviser, retail banker, or chartered management accountant.
