The BA Liberal Arts with Foundation Year is designed to prepare students for undergraduate study in the wide-range of subjects taught in the School of Arts. Students will take two innovative study skills modules and further modules will introduce you to the many exciting ways in which we study the Arts. It is also possible to take a beginner- or intermediate-level language module (French, German, Italian, Japanese or Spanish) as part of the Foundation Year. Graduates can pursue careers in education, public administration, legal work, business and management, the arts and creative industries, journalism and publishing, third sector and campaigning. This degree may also be useful in becoming an arts administrator, journal/newspaper editor, museum/gallery curator, higher education lecturer or community arts worker.
