In order to meet the rapidly developing trend of biomedical optoelectronics, the institute which offers PhD in Biophotonics was established in 2002. This development includes the establishment of a series of comprehensive technology platforms, covering laser microscopy, nanoscopic microscopy and spectroscopy, biomedical photoelectric sensors and manipulators, computer simulations, and various AI polymorphic imaging platforms for preclinical and translational research and clinical applications. Our contributions through active research collaborations with domestic and international academic institutions have been recognized worldwide.
