This program is designed to provide students with the knowledge required for today's successful Human Resource Manager. The curriculum completes both the behavioral and legal perspectives essential in creating effective organizational Human Resources Policies and Practices. The Master of Science in Human Resource Management degree offers the student a unique mix of courses that create a curriculum that is both flexible and comprehensive. The program's core set of classes consists of three facets. The first facet addresses behavioral science theories which provide the foundation for the management and structure of today's organizations. The second facet consists of an in-depth understanding of the laws and practices of contemporary Human Resource Management. The core's final facet is the capstone course, HRM 493: Seminar in Human Resource Management. This case and applications-based course provides the student with an opportunity to see how all the individual pieces fit together to create a truly effective corporate Human Resources strategy and operation. In this program, students will be able to: demonstrate an ability to use technology in business; effective communication; collaboration in diverse groups in business-like settings; and basic analytical and quantitative techniques used in business.

Applicants must have an undergraduate grade point average of at least 2.7 on a 4.0 scale in all or the last half of the undergraduate program. Other English language Requirements: Minimum scores required on the TOEFL are 550 (paper based), 213 (computer based) along with 4.5 or higher on the essay score of TOEFL.
