The official master's degree in Educational Psychology prepares you to work with people from an interdisciplinary perspective with the aim of improving the needs detected in formal and non-formal educational contexts. 
Do you like working with children, young people and adults in risk of social exclusion? This master's degree will allow you to diagnose and evaluate their needs to help find the most adequate inclusion processes.
We have years of experience in the field; the UAB was the first university to offer courses in Educational Psychology.
At the UAB, you will also find research groups that are directly connected with the field of education psychology and related contexts. 
The master's degree's specialisation in Formal Education qualifies you to work in the educational guidance specialisation within secondary school centres. The specialisation in Non-formal Education will provide you the tools needed to work in inclusive, non-formal education contexts.

Admission Requirements

Candidates must hold an official Spanish or foreign university degree issued by a higher education institution from the European Higher Education Area or from outside this area, which in the country of issue authorises the holder to gain admission to master’s degree studies.


The following may be admitted to the master’s degree:


  1. Graduates in Education and Psychology, holders of a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Social Education
  2. Graduates in Primary Education and Early Childhood Education and teachers of Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, Foreign Languages, Music, Physical Education and Special Education.
  3. Graduates may also be admitted from other areas of Social Science and Human Science, Experimental Science and Technologies and Health Science who can demonstrate a professional career or interests linked to the field of education. Graduates from other countries may also be admitted when they meet the admission requirements established.
