The bachelor's degree in Philosophy aims to train students in rational and critical thinking, which is the type of knowledge defining philosophy par excellence and which only this discipline can transmit it to you in a comprehensive manner. For this reason, the study plan incorporates competences related to the integrated training of students and of others such as reading comprehension of philosophical texts, the critical analysis of ideas, the discovery of implied suppositions in all discourses, the construction of convincing arguments and clear and persuasive argumentation. Our objective is to help you acquire the following competences:
- Ability to comprehend texts, ideas and arguments belonging to past and current philosophies.
- Capacity for reasoning and abstract thought.
- Humanistic interests.
- Critical spirit.
- Capacity for reflection.
