This Master’s degree has been designed to offer a sold training in advanced computational techniques which are complemented by training in the generation, diffusion and exploitation of knowledge and innovative and sustainable solutions.
The Master’s degree has a work placement programme which allows you to work with research groups within the university or in centres and institutes based in the region of Barcelona which cover areas requiring advanced computational techniques, such as the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC), the ALBA synchrotron, the Scientific Information Port (PIC), the Computer Vision Center (CVC), the Institute for Environmental Science and Technology (ICTA) and the Institute for Biotechnology and Biomedicine (IBB), among others.
This is a Master’s degree for students who enjoy challenges and are capable of demonstrating a high level of involvement and a spirit of achievement for academic success and the continuation of a professional career in departments of research, development and innovation (R&D+i) in companies or academic institutions.
