Teachers of Musicology, Education Sciences and from the Higher Music Education College of Catalonia (ESMUC), as well as specialised visiting lecturers, will provide you with advanced learning in the aforementioned areas. For the Musicology and Music Education Research track, the aim is to provide students with flexible and cutting-edge research tools and methodologies, and teach content that covers the various aspects of music history, ethnomusicology, and pedagogy and didactics in musical education. The Early Music Interpretation track provides elements, criteria and resources for the improvement of instrumental technique and the interpretation of historical repertoires, through one to one classes, as well as the theoretical and analytical tools necessary to study aspects such as musical notation, documentary sources or an analytical approach.

Admission Requirements
Access to this master's degree is open to those in possession of an official Spanish university degree, preferably in the field of music, or an advanced qualification in music:
- Bachelor's degree in Music and Music History
- Bachelor's degree in Musicology
- Teaching Specialisation in Musical Education
- Advanced Vocational Training at a Musical Conservatory or Musik Hochschule
- Other equivalent qualifications
- Candidates are required to submit references or letter(s) of recommendation for acceptance
- Candidates are required to submit an essay(s) for acceptance
