The main objective of the Master's degree in Neurorehabilitation is to provide specialised and scientific training to professionals from the fields of health and life sciences and from experimental or technological sciences. The Master's degree in Neurorehabilitationis based on structured disciplines such as physical medicine and rehabilitation, neurology, urology, and traumatology; on orthopaedics, nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and psychology, and neurology as clinical disciplines; and on the transfer of knowledge from areas such as neurosciences and engineering fields. Neurorehabilitation is a process aimed at restoring, minimising and/or compensating functional deficits in people suffering from severe disabilities due to lesions in the central nervous system.

Admission Requirements

Prospective students of the master's degree in Neurorehabilitation must hold an official university degree, preferably in an area of knowledge related to the health sciences, social sciences or sports science: graduates in Medicine, Psychology, Physical Activity and Sports Science, Bioengineering, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Social Work, Social Education, Primary-School Teaching (Special Education or Physical Education) and other similar fields.

They must also have a level of B1 in English, on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
