Gumushane University, Institute of Social Sciences 31.05.2008 2547 on higher education with the establishment of the Institute of public relations and Publicity Department as subject to the law and took place in the spring semester started according to 2014-2015 academic student.

Earned Degrees

Upon successful completion of the program and completion of the program qualifications, a Master's degree in Public Relations and Publicity is obtained.

Terms of Admission

The student who wants to enroll in the master's program must have completed the processes determined by the Higher Education Council and completed the exams within the framework of the academic and legal legislation of the university. Admission and application conditions for the program are published on the website of the Graduate Education Institute of Gümüşhane University before the start of the academic semester (Gümüşhane University Graduate Education and Examination Regulations).

Candidates who will apply for a master's degree, first of all, 1.Bachelor's Degree, 2.They must have a valid minimum score of 60 from the graduate entrance exam (ALES).

Transition to the Upper Level

Graduates who have successfully completed the master's program can apply for doctoral programs both in their field and in their multidisciplinary fields, provided that they have obtained a valid grade from the ALES exam and have achieved English language proficiency.

Graduation Conditions

A master's degree in public relations and Publicity Department to be able to take 21 credits (56 ECTS) the course must be passed with a grade of at least CC, and have achieved a weighted average of at least 2.0 out of 4.0 and prepare to succeed by offering a master's thesis in front of a jury is essential.

Evaluation

They are subjected to dec midterm and final exams for each course. The contribution of the midterm exam to the DEC grade is 40%, and the contribution of the final exam is 60%. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. There is an obligation to get at least 50 points from the final exam of the semester. Students who have received one of the letter grades AA, BA, BB and CB from a course are considered to have completed that course.
