The opening of the Department of Business Administration and the departments of Management and Organization, Production and Marketing, Accounting and Finance and Quantitative Methods affiliated to the department was realized with the Senate decision dated 20.10.2008 and numbered 2 of Gümüşhane University and the approval of the Higher Education Executive Board dated 22.10.2008. Our department has started education in the form of primary and secondary education since the 2009-2010 academic year.

Admission Requirements
To be successful in the ÖSYS exam conducted by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). Admission conditions for foreign students are announced on the university's website at the beginning of each academic year.
Upgrade
Candidates who successfully complete their undergraduate education can study in graduate (master's and doctoral) programs.
Graduation Requirements
Students who successfully complete all of the courses in the program for a total of 240 ECTS and achieve a weighted grade point average of at least 2.0 out of 4.00 are entitled to graduate. In addition to successfully completing the courses, a graduation work is essential for graduation.
Graduate Employment Opportunities
Graduates of the department can work in various departments of national and international enterprises, especially accounting, finance, marketing, management and production. In addition, graduates can work in institutions such as Universities, Undersecretariat of Treasury and Foreign Trade, State Planning Organization, Turkish Statistical Institute, Ministries, Capital Markets Board, Competition Authority and Central Bank.
Quantification and consideration
Students are subjected to midterm and final exam for each course. The contribution of the midterm exam to the success grade is 40% and the contribution of the final exam is 60%. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. It is obligatory to get at least 45 points from the final exam. Students who get one of the letter grades of AA, BA, BB, CB and CC from a course are considered successful in that course. In addition, students with a grade point average of at least 2.00 for a semester are considered successful in the courses they received with a DC letter grade. At the end of each semester, students can take a make-up exam for all the courses they failed in that semester.
