The Master's Degree in Telecommunications Systems opens a way to a professional career in all industrial and economic sectors in the field of telecommunications or to further education towards the PhD degree. The convergence of communication networks that carry either voice or data and images is nowadays effective, so this Master's program provides the candidates solid background in advanced communications techniques, digital signal processing and mathematical tools (probability theory, estimation theory, optimization). In this prospect, the program offers specialized courses on technological bases of wireless communications, mobile networks and optical communication systems with many practical and simulation works focused on mastering the techniques of broadband transmissions, antenna and microwaves structures, radio access techniques, exchange of multimedia data, network engineering and planning, multimedia protocols and technologies, circuit description and implementation… This program allows the students in the final step, to pursue a research-oriented or professional project for a period of six months. The project can be done in industrial companies or in the university’s labs.
