The proposed license will allow students to acquire knowledge in the field of animal biology and physiology. Knowledge that will allow them to understand the basics and rules of animal functioning and its adaptations to physiological and pathological variations as well as those relating to the environment. At the end of the training, the student will integrate the complementarity of the different biological functions and their coordination in maintaining the homeostasis of the functions vital and in a comparative way in both the most evolved animals and those that are less so. The knowledge acquired on both vertebrate and invertebrate animals could be used to optimize the productions and this by acting both on the control of the functioning of livestock and in the exploitation of biological control methods. Similarly, a better knowledge of the functioning of the animal will allow a selection of animals best suited to the specific environment of a given region
