The objective of the specialty of  Polymer Engineering is to provide the most comprehensive information needed in science through different  sides relating polymers to Plastics technologies . Students will  discover new polymers' science characteristics such as conductive polymers , polymeric membranes which are used in a large scale in biomedical applications   as well as the knowledge of polymers' transformation techniques and plastic materials incorporating the different polymer transformation states with both the formation and prediction of reheological phenomenon which helps to describe the material flow during its molten state ,is one of the targeted objectives of this speciality too. This speciality will also allow students to acquire new characterization  methods of polymer materials, learning basic notions in the synthesis  , macromolecules behavior as well as the use of numerical methods (the finite element method and the finite volume method) . In addition to this ,they will become more familiar with  software for simulating the implementation of polymers and the flows of these non-Newtonian materials. During their training, students will also assimilate the technical aspects of the safety of chemical processes by being sensitive to preventive measures to reduce major risks related to explosive atmospheres in the company. The last objective is to develop students' awareness of ethical principles, introduce them to the rules that govern life at the university (their rights and obligations towards the university community) and in the world of work. Also, make them aware of the respect and enhance intellectual property and the risks of moral evils  such as corruption and how to fight them.
