The main objective concerning the training for trainers being to train qualified teachers for both pedagogical and teaching tasks and for research. In this case, the opening of the Center for Research in Amazigh Language and Culture (Centre de Recherche en Langue et Culture Amazighes “CRLCA”) is a very serious opportunity both for the doctoral students engaged in this training and for the Center itself, which must regularly recruit researchers.
In particular, concerning research, there are many objectives :
- Elaboration of specific annotated linguistic corpora that can be used not only for specific linguistic studies, which is their primary purpose, but also for subsequent studies that can relate to other aspects of language or other scientific approaches (literary, didactic ...).
- Elaboration of lexicons and dictionaries of particular dialects by adopting lexicological and lexicographical approaches allowing a rigorous description of the linguistic units considered in their natural contexts of use. This would make it possible to enrich the Amazigh and Kabyle lexical and lexicographic corpus in particular and to help in the development of a general and common dictionary of Kabyle dialects and more generally of Amazigh dialects.
- The theoretical and methodological enrichment of research in Amazigh lexicology and lexicography.
- Development of lexicons and specialized terminologies that can overcome the terminological gaps affecting almost all areas of specialized use of the Amazigh language. This would make it possible to enrich the terminological database and help in the development of an encyclopedia of the Amazigh language in need of a rich and varied specialized terminology.
- The enrichment on both theoretical and methodological levels of research in Amazigh terminology and terminography.
- Conduct surveys and sociolinguistic studies on the use, attitudes and representations of the Amazigh language that can help in the development of theoretical and methodological tools for its development, etc.
