The academic master's degree in electrical networks is intended for students who have followed the LMD course in Electrical engineering, in the field of electrical engineering. This master aims at the scientific training of specialists in this field. It will allow students to acquire knowledge allowing the mastery of electrical energies in all their forms: fossil, renewable and others. Also at the end of this training, the student will be able to manage an electrical network as a whole: the management of networks and the equipment of production plants, transport and distribution of electrical energy, as well as their protections, their monitoring and their diagnostics. Students can continue their studies to prepare a Doctorate in the field of electrical engineering. Graduates from this training and wishing to join the professional world will be able to perform the following tasks: - Understand the control structures of electrical networks in the context of optimal management of power flows and improvement of the quality of electrical energy in accordance with international standards; - Improved security and stability of a power grid; - Ensure the maintenance of electrical equipment, analyze the causes of failures and propose improvements; - Anticipate the future needs of the electrical system in terms of lines, substations and production units in order to meet the growing demand for electrical energy in an optimal manner; - Interpret the operation and risks associated with Smart Grids; - Modernization of existing electricity networks through the deployment of renewable energies and the optimization of decentralized production and energy storage; - Analyze and interpret disturbances on an electrical network in the presence of production sources based on renewable resources
