The objective of the course is to provide the student
a solid base of decision-making tools based on the techniques of operational
research (mathematical modelling, optimisation algorithms, ....) as well as
some computer tools essential for fast and efficient data processing and the
implementation of algorithms. It enables the student to develop the ability to
carry out, on a scientific basis, the study of decision-making problems within
organisations (stock management, production planning, transport, industrial
maintenance, company management, resource allocation, personnel management...).
