Master of Law Program was officially launched under the management of the Postgraduate Program of Brawijaya University, based on the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education Number 72/DIKTI/Kep/1997 dated April 7, 1997. Master of Law Program has five specialist area of law: Economic Law, Agrarian Law, Criminal Law, State Administration Law, and International Law. The Master of Law Program has received Unggul accreditation according to the Decision of the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education Number 4231/SK/BAN-PT/Akred-Itnl/M/VII/2022, Unconditional accreditation from Agentur für Qualitätssicherung durch Akkreditierung von Studiengängen (AQAS), and Asean University Network Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) certification.
As it developed, currently Master of Law has several program designed to improve the efficiency of student study time the student’s time efficiency namely The Doctoral Acceleration Program (PPDU), the Master of Laws by Research, and the Double Degree Program which allows student to receive two master degrees both from Universitas Brawijaya (M.H.) and partner university, University of Newcastle Australia (LL.M.).
