The Environmental Science Doctoral Program is a pioneer in environmental science at Brawijaya University, which uses a multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary, and transdisciplinary approach to solving environmental problems and sustainable development. The curriculum used is the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) curriculum which can be taken for a minimum of five semesters. The curriculum being developed is expected to produce graduates who have competencies, including environmental and development planning experts, policy experts who understand environmental and development aspects, and leadership experts who understand the concept of sustainable development. The lecture methods used are hybrid learning, field study, seminars, guest lectures, project-based learning, and case-based learning. The Environmental Science Doctoral Program has lecturers who are experts in the environmental field, practitioner lecturers from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, as well as guest lecturers from abroad. Apart from that, there are various environmental trainings organized by the Postgraduate School laboratory that students can take part in, such as Basics of Amdal, EIA Appraisal, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), KLHS RPJMD, and K3. This study program has 4 tracks or classes, namely regular 1, regular 2, cooperation, and international.
