The Doctoral Study Program in Law (PSDIH) at the Faculty of Law Universitas Brawijaya was established in 2001 based on the Decree of the Directorate General of Higher Education No. 2365/D/T/2001 which was originally under the management of the Postgraduate Program of Universitas Brawijaya. In 2005, the management of PSDIH was transferred to and managed by the Faculty of Law. This Study Program has received Unggul accreditation from National Accreditation Body for University (BAN-PT) and Unconditional accreditation from AQAS.
The Objectives of the PSDIH are:
• Producing Doctorate of Law with academic ability, entrepreneurial spirit, good work ethic, noble character and who are professional, independent, discipline and insightful with cutting-edge technology, so they are able to compete and excel at national and international levels;
• Producing legal scientific works that are able to play a role in the nation's economic development, build independence, based on noble cultural values, and are superior at the national and international levels;
• Creating a Doctorate of Law education environment that is friendly, competitive, high-tech in order to develop the potential of every individual in the academic community; and
• Realizing an accountable, effective, efficient, up-to-date, and integrated Doctorate of Law education management, so they are able to compete at the national and international level.
