Program of English Language Education (SP-ELE) is an undergraduate study
program accredited by the National Accreditation Board Decree in 2015 and AQAS
in 2023. SP-ELE prepares graduates to become English language teachers and
entrepreneurs in the field of English language education in Indonesia who have
critical thinking, ethics, global awareness, information literacy in English
language teaching, information, communication, and technology (ICT) and
intercultural competence.
By applying
the Outcome Based Education (OBE) and Merdeka Belajar curriculum, students are
exposed to real-world activities such as internships, teaching practice, and
student exchange programs. SP-ELE has collaborated with prominent national
stakeholders, such as the State University of Malang, Universitas Pendidikan
Indonesia, English First, the Education Office of Kediri, Universitas
Pendidikan Ganesha Indonesia to promote professional and dynamic graduates.
At the
international level, the study program has various programs such as student
mobility, lecturer mobility, joint research, joint publications, joint
conference in cooperation with international institutions such as the Islamic
International University of Malaysia (IIUM), University Kebangsaan Malaysia,
Boston University, National University of Ireland, Galway, University of New
South Wales (UNSW) of Australia, and Massey University of New Zealand.
