The Political Science Study Program invites students who wish to develop the analytical skills necessary to understand contemporary social and political issues. Providing an understanding of political philosophy, political theories and concepts, methodology, and political events, the curriculum and programs attract a wide range of students with diverse backgrounds from across the region. The curriculum covers almost all basic competencies in the field of political science, including qualitative and quantitative analysis, critical and innovative thinking, design thinking processes, and the use of big data, with special emphasis on in-depth skills in understanding and solving problems in contemporary challenges facing society. Students gain a comprehensive set of academic approaches and skills, enabling them to understand and answer questions about political philosophy, democratization and regime change, constitutional politics, social movements, political economy, voting behavior, gender, elections, political parties, human rights, and area studies.

Apart from learning in class, political science students have the opportunity to actualize outside the university throughout one semester. Several collaboration partners include companies, non-governmental organizations, election management institutions, government institutions, and research institutions related to policy, advocacy, and elections. Students are also provided with opportunities and training to take part in competitions such as debate competitions, scientific work competitions (including research, articles, and posters), and other competitions related to competence in the field of political science. Mentoring and training have succeeded in bringing students to win various competitions at international and national levels.

The Political Science Study Program annually invites various academia from various campuses around the world to become visiting professors, including those from the Université de Montréal, University of Pecs, Heidelberg University, the WZB Berlin Social Science Center, the National University of Singapore, Monash University, and several other universities.
