The Study Program of Aquaculture (SPA) is currently being considered as one of the reputable study programs of aquaculture in Indonesia. The vision of SPA is to become an institution that produces qualified, excellent and internationally standardized human resources and to be able to optimize the productivity of fisheries resources using sustainable aquaculture system in 2025. Whereas, the mission of this study program is to organize the learning processes which include education, research and community service for developing qualified graduates who have future insight, discipline, high moral values and entrepreneurial mindset. In SPA, academic and research activities as well as comunity services are focused on four areas of specialization: 1) Fish Reproduction, 2) Aquaculture Production, 3) Fish Nutrition, and 4) Fish Disease and Health Management. This study program has received the highest grade of accreditation (Excellent) from BAN-PT DIKTI and International Certification from ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance (AUN QA). This achievement suggests that SPA is able to regulate itself in an effort to improve and to guarantee the quality in a sustainable manner in every aspect with regard to the input of students, process of teaching and learning, and output of academic programs and services for contributing to the community and stakeholders.
