The vision of the undergraduate Psychology Program is to become one of the recognized psychology study programs in Asia in 2030 that focuses on psychological studies in a social-community context while still upholding the values of moral integrity and professionalism. Graduates are expected to have main competencies, namely intellectual skills and practical skills.
Intellectual skills include knowledge in (1) understanding the field of psychology expertise, (2) analyzing individual and societal phenomena and utilizing psychological principles optimally both on a micro and macro scale for community empowerment, (3) developing research in the field of Psychology, (4) providing an assessment of various problems in society and at the same time being able to provide solutions for handling them, (5) implementing compatible psychodiagnostic methods to solve problems/obstacles faced by individuals and Indonesian society, (6) respecting differences and being responsive to current professional, social, and global issues, (7) appreciating interdisciplinary approaches in the development of science. The Practical skills include (1) the ability to become a psychology analyst, (2) the ability to act as a community leader, (3 ability to be an educational staff/lecturer, (4) the ability to design and conduct research, and (5) ability to work as a psychology practitioner. The supporting competencies of graduates are managerial skills, including (1) the ability to work together in a team, (2) the ability to communicate effectively, (3) the ability to have a leadership spirit, (4) the ability to have an entrepreneurial spirit, (5) the ability to commit to quality improvement, timeliness, and continuous improvement in social fields.
