The Bachelor Programme of Information Technology
(BPIT) offers undergraduate education in the field of information technology.
The BPIT organizes undergraduate education by focusing on the development and
management of integrated and effective information technology and plays an
active role in supporting national development through the integration of the
three roles of higher education.
Graduates of BPIT will hold the S.Kom title according to the decree of the
minister of technology research and higher education of Indonesia. Graduates
from this study programme not only have high and competitive competence and
quality in the field of information technology development and management but
also have noble personalities.
The BPIT curriculum is built concerning the 2017
Computing Curricula curriculum guide: Curriculum Guidelines for Baccalaureate
Degree Programmes in Information Technology. The scientific fundamentals given
are to respond to the development of web services, mobile computing, social
media, high-speed wireless networks, and data center expansion. The subjects
given use a systemic approach to select, develop, implement, integrate, and
manage computing technology and information security. The focus of learning leads
to the use of information technology to achieve organizational goals.
