The Doctoral Program in Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya Malang was established in 2008 and starting in 2023 has been accredited with excellence, the highest ranking, based on the Indonesian National Accreditation Board. The vision of the Fisheries and Marine Sciences Doctoral Program is to become a scientific center in the field of fisheries and marine affairs and produce quality and internationally competitive graduates by 2025. Meanwhile, its mission is: (1) organizing a human resource-based learning process through education, research, and community service in the field of strategic, creative, innovative and sustainable fisheries and marine management; and (2) develop the capacity of human resources who have knowledge, awareness and attitudes towards sustainable and comprehensive fisheries and marine management. The Study Program has 6 (six) research interests, namely: 1) Tropical Aquaculture 2) Fisheries and Marine Products Technology 3) Aquatic Resources Management 4) Coastal and Marine Resources Management 5) Fisheries and Marine Resources Economics 6) Capture Fisheries Technology and Management.
