Frequently Asked Questions

Poultry diseases are a group of illnesses that affect domesticated birds such as chickens, ducks, and turkeys. These diseases may be caused by viral, bacterial, or fungal infections, as well as poor nutrition or unsuitable environmental conditions. Some common poultry diseases include: - Avian influenza: A highly contagious viral disease that affects bird health and can also have implications for humans. - Newcastle disease: Causes respiratory and neurological issues in poultry and can lead to high mortality rates. - Infectious bronchitis: A viral disease affecting the respiratory system of birds. - Avian cholera: A bacterial infection that can lead to sudden death in poultry. - Coccidiosis: A parasitic disease affecting the digestive system, causing diarrhea and weight loss. Prevention plays a crucial role in reducing the spread of these diseases through vaccination, proper hygiene, and maintaining a healthy environment for poultry.
