Curriculum Structure

-         Microelectronics

-          Signal processing and control systems

 

Students are also required to complete a mandatory summer training program to gain hands-on experience in the industry.

Continuous Improvement and Accreditation: The program adheres to rigorous continuous improvement practices, with regular reviews of curriculum, teaching methods, and outcomes to ensure alignment with industry standards and the needs of graduates. Feedback from students, faculty, alumni, and employers is gathered through surveys, and adjustments are made to the program  accordingly. The program is seeking accreditation under the Iraqi Council for Accreditation of Engineering Education (ICAEE).

The department is equipped with modern labs and facilities to support students' learning. Additionally, students have access to computing resources and are guided through their studies by experienced faculty members who are engaged in both teaching and research.

 

Future Plans: Plans are in place to enhance the program by incorporating more courses related to emerging fields like renewable energy and artificial intelligence. There is also an effort to upgrade lab facilities and provide additional training to meet the evolving demands of the industry.

Admission Requirements

For Iraqi nationalities, the student must be a graduate of the sixth grade of middle school , and the student must have a medical examination report, and submit copies of the personal identity or unified national card, residence card, ration card,  and personal photos (8 photos) The student must pass the sixth preparatory stage with a specific score (which varies from one year to another) and from the scientific or applied education category, For foreign nationalities, he must submit copies of personal identity and passport and the student submits his approved documents certified by the concerned authorities in his country and the Iraqi embassy or attaché in that country, and the university undertakes the procedures for the validity of the issuance of students' documents within a period of time not exceeding the first academic year Personal photo, for foreign nationalities   there are three types of application Study in Iraq, first Free with an average grade 65% as minimum and age not exceed 30 years ,  second Semi free, with average of 60% grader (830 USD each stage of study (the study includes 4 stages of study ))and age not exceed 33 years old. third :On expense: (1660 USD for each stage of study (the study includes 4 stages of study)). No age and grader limits.
