Program Vision
The vision of the Department of Forestry Sciences focuses on developing the realistic and environmental environment from global climate changes that have cast their shadows on most countries of the world, especially Iraq, which suffers from a fragile phenomenon as it is located within the regions of Somalia and the semi-sugarcane of the phenomenon of global warming and climate changes are declining in an increase that the green leaf of the trees could not see the department in preparing technical cadres from the department’s graduates who can be relied upon in extensive afforestation operations on correct scientific foundations in choosing species according to the characteristics of the site.
Program Mission
Culture spreads the love of trees and afforestation in the souls of the current generation and future generations, because of the sanctity and importance of trees that make life possible on earth.
Program Objective
1- Preparing specialized scientific cadres in the field of forestry sciences to meet the requirements of the labor market .
2 Introducing modern cultures to meet the requirements of sustainable development to preserve natural forest resources.
3- - Preserving biodiversity, trying to enrich it and focusing on species whose survival is threatened in the site.
4- - Increasing the areas of green tree patches that would reduce the effects of climate change5- - Developing the forestry reality in the country to serve the economic and political reality .
