The College of Pharmacy seeks to prepare graduates in the field of pharmaceutical sciences to work in government departments and benefit from specialization in the practical and applied field. Work on preparing and graduating leading scientific and leadership competencies in the field of pharmaceutical sciences and in developing the knowledge balance in the field of scientific research in the field of pharmacy to serve the local, regional and international community, as well as training and refining students' minds scientifically and cognitively, emphasizing social and cultural values and responding to the requirements of the local market. Objectives:

1. Qualifying pharmaceutical staff and empowering them with knowledge at the practical and applied levels in the field of specialization .

2 . Paying attention to the scientific outputs of preparing a generation of pharmaceutical competencies capable of achieving pharmaceutical practices in the health, academic and industrial sectors .

3 . Seeking to graduate elements with the ability to creativity and innovation after their graduation and keep pace with scientific and technical development in all pharmaceutical fields .

4 . Attention to the research aspect based on the use of modern laboratory equipment for the purpose of providing graduates with applied skills (drug analysis, preparation of different pharmaceutical forms, extraction of therapeutic material from raw materials, determination of chemical and biological properties of compounds) .

5 . Familiarity with the applied aspects of the patient's pharmacological uses and interest in the clinical application of theoretical information .

6. Encouraging students to pay attention to modern  pharmaceutical aspects such as the use of computers in the pharmaceutical aspects and the discovery of drug interactions.

Admission Requirements

To be accepted into universities, a student must :

Be of Iraqi nationality .

Hold an Iraqi high school diploma certified by the General Directorate of Education in the governorate or an equivalent certificate with the provision of a QR-CODE verification and quick access to the document .  Be born in the year 2000 or later.   Successfully pass the medical examination according to the specific requirements for each study. Accepted students are required to undergo CBC or Hb-Electrophoresis tests at specialized centers .

 

Be dedicated to their studies, as it is not allowed to combine work and study (simultaneously) in morning colleges and institutes. This includes all employees of state institutions. To continue their studies, they must obtain a study leave from their departments within a maximum period of one month from the start of the studies, according to the current regulations. Combining two different courses of study is also not allowed, and if this is found to be the case, a report will be sent to the ministry for the same year, and the student will be required to cancel one of the admissions. Regarding students who have two different acceptances, they must cancel one of them .  For Iraqi nationalities, the student must be a graduate of the sixth grade of middle school , and the student must have a medical examination report, and submit copies of the personal identity or unified national card, residence card, ration card,  and personal photos (8 photos) and must have the average of the sixth grade of middle school (98.83), For foreign nationalities, he must submit copies of personal identity and passport and the student submits his approved documents certified by the concerned authorities in his country and the Iraqi embassy or attaché in that country, and the university undertakes the procedures for the validity of the issuance of students' documents within a period of time not exceeding the first academic year Personal photo, for foreign nationalities there are three types of application Study in Iraq, first Free with an average grade 75% as minimum and age not exceed 30 years ,  second Semi free, with average of 75% grader (1160 USD each stage of study (the study includes 5 stages of study ))and age not exceed 33 years old. third :On expense: (4330 USD for each stage of study (the study includes 5 stages of study)). No age and grader limits.
