This is the unique Master programme in Hong Kong which enables graduates to sit for the Chinese Medicine Practitioner Licensing Examination organized by the Chinese Medicine Council of Hong Kong upon completion of the Programme.

For a Taught Master’s Programme other than the Executive Master of Business Administration (Executive M.B.A.) Programme, the applicant shall have:

  • graduated from a recognized university and obtained a bachelor’s degree, normally with honours not lower than Second Class or achieving an average grade of not lower than “B”; or
  • completed a course of study in a tertiary educational institution and obtained professional or similar qualifications equivalent to a bachelor’s degree.

In addition to the general requirements of the Graduate School, applicants should preferably:

  • have majored in Biomedical Sciences or a related field; or
  • have completed Chinese medicine courses in a recognized educational institution.

A written test and interview may be required by the School of Chinese Medicine.
