The Risk Management Science programmes offered by the Department of Statistics at the Chinese University of Hong Kong have played leading roles in the development of the risk management discipline in Hong Kong. The highly successful Master of Science Programme in Risk Management Science was launched in 2003 and has been well received by the public. Admission Requirements
For a Taught Master’s Programme other than the Executive Master of Business Administration (Executive M.B.A.) Programme, the applicant shall have:
- graduated from a recognized university and obtained a bachelor’s degree, normally with honours not lower than Second Class or achieving an average grade of not lower than “B”; or
- completed a course of study in a tertiary educational institution and obtained professional or similar qualifications equivalent to a bachelor’s degree.
In addition to the general requirements of the Graduate School, applicants should:
- hold a Bachelor degree with second class honours or above in Business, Science, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related disciplines; and
- attend an interview.
