The Postgraduate School of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru offers the Doctorate in Mathematics, with which it is possible to obtain the highest academic distinction offered by the university. At PUCP, the Postgraduate in Mathematics, made up of the doctorate and the Master's in Mathematics, aims to prepare the cadres that the country needs to meet the demand for scientific, technological, economic and social development, in the training of researchers in mathematics and in university teaching.
The purpose of the doctorate is to provide students with a broad and in-depth scientific training, developing their research capacity in mathematics. In this sense, our graduates could not only work in universities or companies, but they will also be professionals capable of performing high-level research and the generation of new knowledge in the field of mathematics.
