The economic, social and political dynamics of the globalized world oblige Criminal Sciences to constantly update their approach to the criminal phenomenon in order to be able to offer efficient responses typical of a Constitutional State of Law. This reality makes a solid academic and practical training essential for Criminal Law professionals. For this reason, the PUCP Master's Degree in Criminal Law is committed to being a space of academic excellence where its students specialize in order to successfully compete in the demanding professional, public and private market.
The Master's program in Criminal Law is organized into four (4) academic semesters, with a total of 17 subjects studied by the main legal institutions of modern Criminal Science: from the methodological instruments of creation and application —Criminology and Criminal Policy—, to the new forms of criminal organization and economic crime, passing through the evolution of the Theory of Crime, Criminal Procedure Law and Penitentiary Law.
Our Master's program brings together the most outstanding Peruvian teachers in its teaching staff and summons renowned Spanish, German and Latin American jurists, who bring a high academic level to the program's classes and conferences.
