The PUCP Master's in Creative Writing is  committed to training professional writers in the field of writing fictional and non-fictional literary texts. The courses are taught by PUCP professors with extensive experience in literary creation. In addition, every semester the Master will have the participation of internationally recognized writers, who will work directly with the students.
Objectives:
  • To train professional writers by promoting original literary creation and the development of the critical and creative capacity of students.
  • Provide tools and techniques for the construction of literary texts as well as knowledge of the tradition that allow students to develop and perfect their creative works in the different literary genres (fiction, theater, poetry, essay, chronicle).
  • Generate a sense of community through the creation of spaces for interaction with recognized writers and professionals from the publishing world.
