The Master of Addictions and addictive behaviors is a proposal that seeks to contribute to the care of the needs and the exercise of the right to health, to develop a life free of addictions. This training proposal goes from the beginning of consumption trajectories to rehabilitation. Likewise, the program considers the problem of addictions to non-chemical substances such as gambling and addiction to new technologies.

Objectives:

  1. Offer updated, comprehensive and humanistic training on psychosocial intervention in the field of addictive behaviors.
  2. Provide the bases and recent scientific evidence about effective prevention and intervention practices, applied in the psychosocial approach to addictive behaviors.
  3. Obtain a greater understanding of the experience of addictions and how they affect individuals, families and communities in a complex, joint and differentiated way.
  4. Provide the main strategies, techniques and instruments for evaluation and treatment in populations affected by psychoactive substances and addictive behaviors at the different levels of intervention.
  5. Offer the necessary methodological tools for research in the area.
