The Postgraduate School of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru offers interested parties a postgraduate study program leading to the academic degree of Master in Applied Physics. Lasting four academic semesters, the master's curriculum is oriented towards scientific and technological applications in the fields of Acoustics, Optics, Lasers, Radars and Antennas, emphasizing electroacoustic design, design optical and lasers and radars.
In the application work, we work with lasers and detectors, transducers and sound level meters, antennas, among others. Software, electronic and photonic instrumentation, signal and image processing, optical, acoustic and antenna design techniques are developed and used. A thesis project course allows each student to delve into these techniques by developing a specific applied project.
